Our Information Commons is a brand new, futuristic building that was born out of completely fresh thinking about learning resources for the 21st century student.
Open 24/7
Information Commons contains a whole range of study experiences within one spectacular location. And the great thing is, it's open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. You just need your University ID card to get in.
Self-service technology gives you access to resources any time of day or night, and there are also staff available if you need assistance.

The latest IT resources are combined with library facilities and a range of study spaces.
Spread over six spacious levels, you'll find:
- Over 1,300 study spaces

- Bookable rooms for individual or group study
- Silent study areas
- Comfy sofas for informal study and reading
- Library resources – up to 100,000 volumes of reference and short-loan books
- Access to the library's e-collections and journals

On the ground floor there's a 70-seat café with convenient kiosk computers, so you can check your email while grabbing a bite to eat.
