The price for park and ride includes a Day Rider ticket for the driver (which offers unlimited travel for one day). Additional Day Rider tickets can be purchased on the tram.
Directions via the M1 from the south and east (via M18)
Leave the M1 at Junction 34 and follow signs for "M1 North" (third exit from the roundabout) and travel along the lower deck of the Tinsley viaduct.
Now follow signs for "Meadowhall Centre A6109" (first exit from the roundabout).
Stay in the outer lane and turn first right at the traffic lights into Barrow Road, following signs for Meadowhall Interchange park and ride.
The entrance to the park and ride is on the left after the railway bridge.
Directions via the M1 from the north
Leave the M1 at Junction 34. Leave the M1 at Junction 34 and follow signs for "Meadowhall Centre A6109" (fourth exit from the roundabout).
Stay in the outer lane and turn first right at the traffic lights into Barrow Road, following signs for Meadowhall Interchange park and ride.
The entrance to the park and ride is on the left after the railway bridge.
Directions from Manchester and the west
From Manchester and the west take the A628 Woodhead Pass.
Turn onto the A616, following signs for Sheffield and the M1 (southbound).
After approximately 10 miles the road joins the M1 southbound.
Leave the M1 at Junction 34 and follow signs for "Meadowhall Centre A6109" (fouth exit from the roundabout).
Stay in the outer lane and turn first right at the traffic lights into Barrow Road, following signs for Meadowhall Interchange park and ride. The entrance to the park and ride is on the left after the railway bridge.
