Apply to Attend Doctoral Development Program Modules
- Each Doctoral Development Program (DDP) module run as a series of 5 sessions,
- They are open to all students, post- graduates and members of staff,
- They fetch 5 RTP credits each.
- It is possible to register for these courses and not take the DDP assessment/credit but priority will be given to those who register as DDP students.
- All students must register by following the link to DDP on the RHS and filling in forms there.
- If you search the Unit Listings there, you will find the HPC & Grid related modules labelled CIC6--- under Faculty of Science or Faculty of Engineering listings under Units Open to the Faculty or Units Open to Everyone.
Applying to Attend Outside the DDP Framework
Post graduate Students, members of Staff or Non-Student status visitors may also apply to attend the Doctoral Development Program modules by filling in the Non-DDP-application-form. As spaces are limited on these modules, we give priority to the DDP applicants and operate on "first come first serve" bases for the Non-DDP applicants and hence can not guarantee a place.
The only difference between attending as a DDP candidate and Non-DDP candidate is that the Non-DDP candidates do not need to carry out an assignment.
