Applications for University Accommodation 2019-20 are now open!

We know you’re all excited about applying for your accommodation and we simply can't wait to welcome you. Please be patient during this time as the Accommodation team will be busy processing your applications.
If you have chosen Sheffield as your firm choice or hold an unconditional offer to study at The University of Sheffield, you can start applying in a few easy steps.

1) Set up your MUSE account (wait for an email from the team which will have your login details)
2) Log in to MUSE and start your application for accommodation

***Please note that it can take up to 48 hours from confirming and accepting your course with the University to being able to select and apply for University Accommodation so there may be a slight delay. 

Our self-select system gives you more control over where you live. You can select the location, your preferred accommodation block and even your own flat and bedroom! Are you coming to Sheffield with some friends from your hometown? Simply apply at the same time, and select the same flat – how great is that!

Insurance and Clearing students looking for September 2019-20

For insurance and Clearing students looking to study in Sheffield and live in University accommodation for the 2019/20 academic year, applications will open on 15 August 2019 after A Level results day. There will be an Open Day where you will be able to attend and book your accommodation on the day. 

Current students still looking for 2019-20

The University Accommodation Services office will give you every possible assistance to find suitable accommodation, but as demand for this type of accommodation is sometimes greater than the number of properties available, the University cannot guarantee that suitable housing will always be found.
