There are lots of ways for you to report any problems in your accommodation to the Maintenance Helpdesk. Don’t wait until an inspection or until you move out, we’re here to help and want to hear from you all year round.

Be ready

When reporting a problem, try to include as much information as possible;

  • Full details of what the problem is
  • Location of the fault (including which residence you live in)
  • Your name, email address and telephone number

Please note that Allen Court students must report maintenance issues to Allen Court and Sheffield 3 students should report issues directly to Sheffield 3. If you contact us or fill in the Maintenance Request Form we will be unable to deal with your enquiry.

Pest Control Issues

If you are experience pest control issues in your flat or house, report them using the details above, as you would normally report a maintenance issue. Please note, for issues such as these an extra charge may be incurred as experts may need to be contracted to solve the issue. The charge for pest control is £50.

Deposit Questions?

If you have any questions on damage deposits, all residents are welcome to attend one of our Damage Drop Ins, every Friday (during term time) 11.30am – 1.30pm in Raven Tor room, The Edge, Ranmoor/Endcliffe (next to the Customer Services desk).

Here you’ll have a chance to speak to our friendly team who look after deposits and damages. Whether you’ve been charged for something and you’re not sure why, or you’ve received a letter you don’t understand, it can be helpful to talk things through in person.
