The Automatic Control & Systems Engineering Speed Networking event was held on Thursday 3rd December and was well attended by both ACSE Alumni and students alike.

The evening kicked off with an opening talk from our very own Dr Robin Purshouse, followed by a Careers Service talk from Annette Baxter.

Alumni then moved round the tables of students spending 10mins per table answering as many questions as they could fit in to the allotted time. The room was full of chatter, with lots of great pieces of advice being given to our ACSE students.

Students

The aim of the event was to help students answer questions regarding their future, looking beyond their degree. By hosting this event we gave our students the chance to ask questions to people who have been there and done it - our ACSE alumni.

Alumni

The evening was concluded with networking over food and wine, offering further time for students to gain additional information and ask any last questions in a less formal setting.
