I joined the ACSE department in October 2013 under the supervision of Prof. Daniel Coca and I'm focusing my research in the imaging method known as fluorescent diffuse optical tomography (FDOT), aiming for the development of accurate and faster algorithms to reconstruct diseased tissue targeted with fluorescent markers using non-linear system identification methods such as NARMAX combined with the Finite Element Method (FEM).
I hold an MSc degree in Automatic Control from the National Centre for the Research and Technological Development (CENIDET), Mexico, 2010, where I focused my research in the field of Fault Diagnosis and Fault Tolerant control theory applied to distillation columns and sliding mode control approach.
