Biopic

I graduated from Escuela Militar de Ingeniería in La Paz, Bolivia as a BEng in Electronic and Electric Engineering, also I have completed all the modules of BSc in Pure Mathematics in Universidad Mayor de San Andrés in La Paz Bolivia.

I graduated from the University of Sheffield with an MSc in Control Systems with distinction. My dissertation studied the effects that couplings on dynamics and constraints have on output feedback for partitioned large scale systems.

I am currently a PhD student supervised by Dr. Paul Trodden and my research is focusing on reconfigurable control schemes for large scale systems using Model Predictive Control (MPC) as the main tool. I am the recipient of the Nicholson Prize scholarship.

Research Interests

My main research interest is Distributed Model predictive control for partitioned large scale systems, with cooperation and communication between subsystems or agents in order to achieve reconfigurable control schemes. Further research interest are nonlinear control, game theory applied to control systems.

Teaching

I act as an Associate tutor for the following Modules ACS123 Maths, ACS125 Modelling and Simulation ACS342 Feedback Design, ACS6116 Advanced Industrial Control. And now I’m part of the Graduate Teaching Assistant in the Diamond.
