Kacper graduated from the University of Sheffield Aerospace MEng programme with his final year dissertation on the subject of “Spacecraft and Satellite Guidance and Control”. He has a keen interest in Model Predictive Control theory and its applications to aerospace systems. He is currently conducting PhD research into 'Gas Turbine Advanced Control and Monitoring' under the supervision of Dr Paul Trodden in the Department of Automatic Control and Systems Engineering, University of Sheffield. His aim is to provide further guarantees of MPC’s performance on safety-critical control loops, such as the thrust control loop on-board future turbofan engines.
