I graduated from Northwestern Polytechnical University, Xi’an, China, in 2011 with a B.Eng. degree in Software Engineering, and received my MSc degree in Control System from the University of Sheffield, UK, in 2013. I am currently a PhD student working in ACSE, Sheffield, and supervised by Dr. Hua-Liang Wei. My research is focusing on model construction from large datasets for complex system analysis.

Research Interests

  • System identification and modelling for nonlinear and non-stationary system: NARMAX, Artificial Neural Network (ANN) and Multi-resolution Wavelet models.
  • Online data mining and analysis: Data mining, machine learning.
  • Modelling complex stochastic dynamic economics system.

I am a lab demonstrator in the module ACS408 Optimisation and Search and ACS6102 State-Space, Non-Linear and Optimal Control and also a teaching assistant in the module ACS217 Mathematics and Data Modelling.
