Keeping records is part of assessment and is included in the Supervisor’s Report marking scheme (see Project Assessment).
Keep a hard-bound log/lab book of your work during the project. Loose leaf notes are not acceptable and are easily lost.
Your supervisor will refer to your log/lab book when marking your performance & professional skills and writing their Supervisor's Report.
You are not required to formally hand your log/lab book in, but you should show it to your project supervisor during meetings.
