Dr Jessica Baily
Jessica works on developing student engagement in learning and teaching at the University, including running the SALT scheme (Student Associates in Learning and Teaching). She works alongside academic lead Dr Robert McKay to embed rich and constructive dialogue with students within the University culture.
Jessica began her Higher Education career as a Student Union officer at the University of Sheffield and has subsequently worked in various roles in HE, including administration, teaching, and supporting student representatives. She has completed an MA in Sociological Research and PhD in Sociology – her research focused on feminist activism and she has a keen interest in tackling inequalities within and beyond the University.
