Entrepreneurial Summer School spaces

There are some places still vacant on the White Rose Centre for Enterprise’s week-long, residential Entrepreneurial Summer School starting on 12 June 2006. Interested alumni are invited to take part.

The course will introduce the fundamental skills needed to turn ideas into a fully functioning business through a mixture of practical sessions and guest speakers, covering a wide variety of entrepreneurial skills including:

  • Practical Financial Planning

  • Team Building

  • Marketing

  • E-Commerce

  • Networking

  • Entrepreneurial characteristics

There will also be the chance to speak in one to one sessions with advisers about your personal business plan, as well as the opportunity to tackle real-life business problems. People at any stage of their business start up are welcome to attend this course but please be advised that those who already have an idea for their business will get the most out of the week as all sessions are based on taking an idea to a fully running business rather than ideas generation.

As this summer school has been heavily subsidised the total cost of the week to delegates is £95.00. This includes all meals and accommodation, transport to and from the site as well as to all external locations.
