University to hold its first Alumni Anniversary Reunion

Calling all graduates from the years 1947, 1957, 1967, 1977 and 1982 we are delighted to invite you to our first Alumni Anniversary Reunion.

Although open to everyone, we are particularly focusing on the years above to celebrate these special anniversaries on 8 September 2007.

The event is going to be a fantastic opportunity for you to return to Sheffield and catch up with old friends or show your family just what it was like to be at the University. You’ll be able to revisit old haunts whilst maybe discovering some of the great new facilities in the city and on campus.

The programme will include:

  • Students’ Union Centenary exhibition

  • Campus tours

  • Information Commons tour

  • Free time in Sheffield

  • Drinks' reception

  • Black tie dinner

  • After-dinner access to the Students’ Union bar

The main focus of the event will be an evening drinks' reception with canapés and a formal four-course dinner in Firth Hall, hosted by the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Bob Boucher.

During the afternoon there will be plenty of time to take in all elements of the programme and maybe add in some plans of your own?

There will be an online guest list so that you will be able to keep track of old classmates who will be attending.

Sound like something you would be interested in? Please don’t miss out – book today!
