University's team in the Half Marathon 2019

Have you been inspired by our previous fundraising challenges such as the Big Walk or the Half Marathon for Sheffield Scholarships? Have you been looking for a motivation to get into running? Look no further - registration for a University of Sheffield charity place in the Sheffield 10K is now open!

Join the University of Sheffield’s team to be part of thousands who take to the streets on Sunday 22 September 2019 and take in the sights as you run the increasingly popular Sheffield 10K route.

We’re looking for enthusiastic fundraisers who will embrace the challenge of running a 10k through the streets of Sheffield. All abilities are welcome, and we are purely looking for those who will relish a true running and fundraising challenge - we are asking every runner to raise £150 for Sheffield Scholarships.

This much-talked about event starts in Arundel Gate in the heart of the city and takes runners on a route along Charter Row and Ecclesall Road, before skirting the edges of the pretty Endcliffe Park. It continues along Riverdale Road, followed by Endcliffe Vale Road, past the Endcliffe Village, then down Brocco Bank and back to the city centre.

We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible if you’re interested to secure one of our charity places and to avoid disappointment. We will contact you by email to confirm your place.
