Destination of Leavers from Higher Education Survey 2016/17
Every year all UK universities take part in the Destination of Leavers from Higher Education Survey (DLHE) to track the destinations of recent graduates. Each university contacts its own graduates, and at Sheffield it is the Careers Service which is responsible for following up with as many graduates as possible. This is an important survey and the information you supply is greatly appreciated. With approximately 9,500 Sheffield graduates to contact, and with a target response rate of 80%, they have a big job to do!
If you completed your degree between 1 August and 31 December 2016 expect to hear from the Careers Service between April and June 2017. They’ll be attempting to contact you using email, text messages, and Facebook and Twitter postings, all of which will link you to an online questionnaire which is quick and easy to complete. A lot of responses are collected by telephone – a team of over twenty current students will be calling over the survey collection period. You may also receive a reminder from your department encouraging you to take part in the survey.
All graduates (UK, EU and International) are invited to participate. So please can we make a special request for you to take part in the survey when you are contacted, and make sure that Sheffield has an excellent set of responses from all of its recent graduates.
