Get involved

Organise or take part in an event in support of the Sheffield ScannerIn order to achieve our target of £2 million we need your help.

We will be encouraging all alumni, students, staff and friends of the University to dig deep and donate what they can towards the project. As well as financial donations, giving your time to help fundraise can be just as valuable, so if this is something you'd be interested in let us know. So far our incredible fundraisers have raised over £141,000.

In June 2018 we will see the return of the Big Walk for the Sheffield Scanner. In September 2017 we had a team of 20 running the Sheffield 10k run, and in 2018 a team of 50 are taking on the Sheffield Half marathon.

But there are a whole host of other ways you can get involved through your own fundraising challenges, and our team is here to support you all the way.

We have guides and resources to help you organise your event; from quizzes and bake sales to marathons and skydives. If you have an idea to raise money then get in touch and we can work together to reach our target and bring this ground-breaking MRI-PET facility to Sheffield.
