Alumni Involvement

5 alumni delivered short presentations to the students, sharing their career paths and journey since graduating. Alumni also offered information and advice to students during ‘Speed Networking’ and informal networking sessions.

Results

26 students were able to gain first-hand advice from Psychology graduates, build confidence in networking with professionals and see the wide range of career options open to them with a degree from Sheffield.

“I'm glad the students seemed to find it helpful and I enjoyed talking with them, fellow alumni and University staff on the day. The event was well-organised and I felt very welcomed back to Sheffield. It was really enjoyable to talk with other professionals who share my interests and background. Thank you for having me back!”
