Working with employers
As a university with a track record in forging successful partnerships, we are keen to collaborate in developing new apprenticeships with employers across the city, region and nationally. We have successfully partnered with businesses such as Boeing, McLaren and Siemens.
Degree Apprenticeships enable you to attract employees of the future and equip them with the skills you need for your organisation.
Apprentices are directly employed by the employer and spend at least 30 hours a week on the job training. We provide the apprentice with the academic training, support and expertise required for their chosen career and a fully accredited degree on completion of the programme.
Our apprenticeship programmes are designed in partnership with employers, so that your apprentices develop the skills and expertise they need to succeed in your industry.
With the introduction of the Apprenticeship Levy, now is the time to maximise the use of your levy payments to invest in your apprentices. We offer value for money and the highest quality teaching and learning as a world top 100 Russell Group university.
We currently offer Degree Apprenticeships in manufacturing and engineering through our Advanced Manufacturing and Research Training Centre. You can find out more on the AMRC Training Centre website.
We are working with employers to extend our Degree Apprenticeship programmes in the following areas:
