Achieving food security

We are working to increase our understanding of fundamental processes, utilising advanced molecular techniques including molecular genetics, metabolomics, fluorescence imaging and gas exchange analysis. Investigating a wide range of problems from a molecular and organism level, through whole ecosystems up to global-scale events, this knowledge is equipping us with the tools to address the issue of feeding our growing population under future, challenging environmental conditions.
