Key Research Interests

Toni Gossmann research

I work on different topics of evolutionary biology that are all connected by my passion for knowledge and creativity. In particular I am currently interested in these specific topics:

  • The imprint of selection in the genome of natural populations
  • Molecular mechanisms of fine scale recombination rate variation
  • Evolutionary proteomics
  • NAD metabolism
  • Theoretical aspects of population genetics
  • The evolution of senescence
