Programme approval

The programme approval process is supported by the Academic Programmes Office. It ensures that all new programmes meet necessary internal and external criteria before they are launched.

All programme proposals should be initiated via the online 'notification' form.

Amendments to existing programmes will continue in the same way.

The graphic below gives an overview of the process. A more detailed summary of how this works for different members of staff can be found here.

Reference forms, including appendix forms for Apprenticeship Programmes and Collaborative Programmes, can be found on the right.

Deadlines for the development and approval of curriculum changes for 2020-21 and beyond will be shown here shortly. The 2019-20 timetable can be seen here.
