The Gateway Course: An Introduction to Medical Education
This course is a free staff development course offered to all staff involved in the teaching of The University of Sheffield, Undergraduate Medical Students.
Numbers are restricted to 30 delegates per course to provide optimal educational opportunities. The course is offered entirely online. This allows maximum flexibility to participants while offering an engaging experience with opportunity to interact with tutors and colleagues around the topics offered.
This course is free of charge as this is a staff development course only for those teaching the Undergraduate Medical Students at The University of Sheffield.
We estimate the time requirement is around 2-3 hours per two week session.
When you have completed all of the sessions we will issue you with Certificate of Completion to evidence that you have successfully completed the course and 15 hours of study.
The faculty for the Gateway Course are all members of the Academic Unit of Medical Education. They are experienced in providing long and short courses in healthcare education, within the UK and internationally.
