BMS235 Integrated Physiology & Pharmacology

General knowledge of human physiological systems; at least one practical involving pharmacology. Semester 1 (Tues 13.30-16.30, Wed 9.00-12.00 13.30-16.30) week no. 1, 3 and 5.

Demonstrating for this module will include a practical write-up as well as demonstrating in the lab. Semester 2; weeks 20-26, 30- Mon & Tue am/pm.

Practical experience of working with chick embryos and/or Drosophila embryos and larvae. Semester 1a (Mon,Tues,Wed). Number of weeks this module 4, weeks 3-6.

Knowledge of tissue culture and ELISA based assays.
