Course: MSc Stem Cell and Regenerative Medicine
Current role: Research Technician, Centre for Stem Cell Biology, The University of Sheffield
"I graduated from the University of Sheffield's Stem Cells and Regenerative Medicine MSc program in January 2016 and found the course to be a richly rewarding experience.
"The high quality lectures and practical modules supplemented the extended laboratory-based dissertation project which I was privileged enough to do in association with the Materials Science department, whilst a particular highlight was the Ethics module jointly taught by a department academic and a visiting lawyer who instilled the ability to critically reflect on the implications of the legal regulations that govern research and their value in increasing public confidence within the changing landscape of personalised medicine.
"This course has helped prepare me for my future career and continues to do so through my current post within the department, whilst the city itself provides a wonderful place to live and work, with impressive green spaces and a convenient links with the rest of the country."
