    Lewis chose to study the MSc Human Anatomy with Education course as an intercalated part of his Medicine degree. By studying the masters, Lewis was not only able to focus on anatomy - an area he'd enjoyed so far as a medical student, but he also had the freedom to explore teaching and learning, and the factors that affect this at Sheffield Medical School.

    Nicoletta had been pursuing her academic studies in archaeology when she was first exposed to the field of human anatomy. Joining the MSc Human Anatomy with Education allowed Nicoletta to join coursemates from other diverse backgrounds to better understand both the human body and how individuals have different approaches to learning.

    Jack chose to study the MSc Human Anatomy with Education course as an intercalated part of his Medicine degree to further support him in his pursuit of a career as a surgeon. The course helped Jack to become both a better teacher and learner which he feels will be useful when he returns to his studies in medicine.

    Stephanie Egerton

    Stephanie returned to Sheffield to study the MSc Human Anatomy with Education programme having worked in lab and pharmacy roles within the NHS since 2012. The combination of anatomical study offered by the course, and the opportunity to gain a professional teaching qualification has helped Stephanie to progress down her chosen career path as an Anatomy Demonstrator.

    Daniel Ray

    During his MSc, Daniel had the opportunity to work in the Sheffield RNAi Screening Facility (SRSF), developing skills in techniques including genome editing, 3D cell culture, robotics and functional genomic screening. It was this experience that helped Daniel to secure a role at biotech company Lonza for when he finished his studies.

    Bhadra was awarded the British Council India 70th Anniversary Scholarship, allowing her to study MSc Biomedical Science at the University of Sheffield. With the research experience she's gaining during her masters, Bhadra hopes to pursue a PhD in Cancer Biology after graduation.

    Asma started studying Biomedical Science as an undergraduate student at Sheffield. During her year studying MSc Genomic Approaches to Drug Discovery Asma has been learning about drug screening, gene editing and assay development, ready to begin her PhD in Vienna later this year.
