Graduate Employability Academies - Half day workshops on 9th,16th June (on campus), 13th July or 21st July
A brand new series of Graduate Employability Academies presenting students and new graduates with insights and advice on how to identify, find and apply for graduate roles, and how to successfully navigate the transition from student to employee and ongoing career development.
With careers experts and a variety of alumni and employer speakers, the events will be packed with information and top tips for anyone who needs a bit of a job search boost, or advice on making a good start in your career as a graduate.

A full summer timetable of careers and skills webinars available to recent graduates and all students focusing on employability skills development, networking, job search, job application techniques, dissertation skills, time management, statistical analysis and numerical reasoning.
We are also running several webinars featuring employers.

- Graduate Development Conference
On 15th September the University will host its first Graduate Development Conference inviting new graduates and continuing students to consider and develop your ability to make an impact in your work or life.
Impact will be the theme as we know many of you aim to seek a career in which you can make a positive impact, whether that be on society, others or within an organisation. This conference will aim to deliver a structured set of sessions focusing on impact, bringing together industry practitioners to encourage knowledge exchange and enabling you to develop further your employability skills. - The Boardroom Masterclasses
Throughout September the Campaign & Alumni Relations team will be running another ‘The Boardroom’ series of exclusive masterclasses from globally leading Sheffield alumni. The masterclass webinar programme will be open to all of the University's Class 2021 to apply to.

- Join our network of support
We have a Graduate Careers Support Network LinkedIn group for those graduating in 2021 and other recent graduates. We post live vacancies, events and information to support you with your next career steps, so we recommend that you join this group now to access extra help for your next steps.
Look out for our new Student Alumni Platform which will be launching this summer. This platform will be an inclusive online space for students and alumni to connect with each other, and benefit from being part of an exclusive University of Sheffield community.
As a new graduate you’ll be able to connect with other Sheffield alumni to explore career possibilities, access mentoring opportunities, and share experiences, and it will help you to keep connected to the University.
Coach Cafe - virtual networking opportunity
Graduates can also look out for the return of the Coach Cafe alumni-alumni online networking event coming in the autumn. Hear from fellow alumni who are further along in their career and have valuable experience to share with you.
