MEng Chemical Engineering with a Year in Industry
The year in industry is a one-year extension of the MEng Chemical Engineering degree. With help from our careers and placements team we will help you find and secure your own placement. You'll have a placement in industry for at least 38 weeks.
MEng Chemical Engineering with Energy
You'll study the important aspects of the supply, production and processing as well as the use of energy on this course. You'll look at ways of reducing energy use, the problems associated with the burning of fuels, and approaches to developing more efficient and cleaner energy systems.
MEng Chemical Engineering with Biological Engineering
This specialist course has been designed to provide highly skilled chemical engineers specifically for the bioscience industry. This course will equip you to work at the cutting edge of biotechnology. As a graduate you'll be comfortable working with diverse biomolecules at both the bench and larger scale plants.
MEng Chemical Engineering with Nuclear Technology
This course is designed to provide highly skilled chemical engineers that are specifically needed by the nuclear industry. You'll specialise in nuclear engineering, through modules, design project and research project focusing on nuclear technology. Our laboratory gives you hands-on experience of working safely with radioactive sources.
Chemical Engineering with Foundation Year
If you don't have appropriate qualifications in maths or science, this course is for you: the foundation year provides you with a concentrated course of maths, chemistry or physics, and engineering. On successful completion, you move straight into the first year of our MEng degree course.
