Acts of Worship in the Christian Chaplaincy

Christian prayer and worship takes place every weekday at 1:10pm in the Chaplaincy Centre (in the Octagon). All are welcome to join us.

Daily Prayer

Pause in the middle of a busy day, for prayer or worship.
Ecumenical Daily Prayer happens between 1:10 and 1:30pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the Quiet Room in the Chaplaincy Centre.

Communion / Eucharist

During the Covid-19 pandemic, this is happening online and may be in the form of other worship than Communion. Email chaplaincy@sheffield.ac.uk for details of how to join in.

The Free Church and Anglican Communion is celebrated each Wednesday, 1:10-1:40pm. All are welcome to this act of worship.

Meditation

Still your heart and mind, let go of your stresses and business for a short while, and refresh yourself with a self-guided meditation. Resources can be found in a box in the Quiet Room, so feel free to help yourself whenever the room is free.
