Welcome to the Centre for Bayesian Statistics in Health Economics (CHEBS)
CHEBS is a research centre of the University of Sheffield that was officially established in January 2002.
Drawing on our research strengths
The Centre combines the strengths of the School of Mathematic and Statistics (SoMaS), internationally respected for its research in Bayesian statistics, and the School of Health and Related Research (ScHARR), one of the leading UK centres for economic evaluation.
The Centre is highly regarded in the development and application of Bayesian methods in health economics and related research.
At the Centre our researchers have developed some standard software that may be of use to analysts involved in economic modelling.
