Encore is the Lecture Capture service in use by the University of Sheffield.
As the University is moving to an opt-out policy for lecture capture from 2017-18, this will mean that teaching session will automatically be recorded and made available on MOLE. Where it is not appropriate to record an event, staff can request that that the session is not recorded. Only core teaching sessions associated to modules will be recorded, public events will not be recorded unless specified.
The University of Sheffield's Lecture Capture Policy can be found below.
In order to support departments in implementing this policy a range of support is available via the link below. These resources will will be aimed at both academic and professional support staff in departments, as both of these groups will be involved in rolling out Encore.
