The University of Sheffield holds a site license for Maple Computer Algebra Software, with license extensions to resell the product to its students.  This allows Staff and Students to use the software both on and off campus.

We currently support Maple 2016, 2015, and 18 only.

Maple is available on Windows, Linux and MAC platforms. It is also installed on the Managed Desktop Service computers and on the iceberg HPC cluster. See accessing MAPLE on iceberg for further information.

To install Maple on your own Windows, Mac or Linux workstation, you can download it via the CiCS Software Download service

Maple licenses expire annually at the end of July.
If you start getting warning messages about the imminent expiry of your Maple license, you can obtain the new license code, and optionally the latest version of Maple,  via the CiCS Software Download service link above.
