Your UCard PIN

A Personal Identification Number (PIN) is used for the issue and renewal of items at self service machines in the Library and Information Commons. It is also needed to use some swipe locked doors at the University, especially out of hours

Getting your PIN

You can get your PIN by selecting Account settings from the My services menu in MUSE

  1. Log in with your username and password.
  2. Click option 1.
  3. Click Logout.

Your PIN will be displayed on screen and emailed to your university email address straight away.

Changing your UCard PIN

To change your UCard PIN, select Account settings from the My services menu in MUSE

  1. Log in with your username and password.
  2. Click option 2.
  3. Type in and confirm your new PIN.
  4. Click Change
  5. Click Logout.

Security

For security purposes, you should not give your PIN to anyone. If you think someone might know your PIN you should change it immediately.
