Chinese Proficiency Tests, HSK/HSKK/YCT
The CI at the University of Sheffield is one of the earliest HSK test centres in the UK. Started in 2004, now hosting both paper-based and internet-based tests, the Centre has been awarded with "Excellent Centre 2017".
HSK test includes listening, reading and/or writing, open to all ages of non-native Chinese speakers.
HSKK is an oral speaking test, open to all ages of non-native Chinese speakers.
Test dates are generally in December, March and June (for paper-based), while for Internet-Based, dates are flexible and can be held based on demands, e.g. for applying CI-scholarships during January-March.
HSK Preparation Classes: held on Wednesday evenings during the University semester dates. FREE to attend if you have registered the test with us.
YCT test includes listening, reading and/or writing, open to all non-native Primary and Secondary Pupils.
YCT Speaking test is an oral test, open to all non-native Primary and Secondary Pupils.
Test dates are generally in November, February and May (paper-based), while internet-based tests can be held on demands.
