The Active 10 app developed by researchers from the Department for Public Health England featured on BBC1.
BBC1 has dedicated a programme to Active 10, a tracking App developed by Prof. Fabio Ciravegna, Jie Gao and Chris Ingram at The OAK Group. Prof Ciravegna, designer of the tracking algorithm and lead Android developer, said: Active 10 introduces a new concept of getting fit by taking small burst of brisk walking rather than fixating on often unachievable and totally arbitrary goals such as 10,000 steps a day. Our innovative algorithms allow tracking these movements and supporting people in achieving their goals with ease.
