Computer Science Society hosts 24 hour gaming jam
The Computer Science Society will host a 24 hour game jam on the 14 November at the University Sheffield. Participants can work individually or in teams to create a game in 24 hours based on a theme which will be revealed on the day. A vareity of prizes are on offer ranging from £50 amazon vouchers and startup weekend tickets to the new raspberry pi's. The event will take place in the University's new engineering building, the Diamond.
The judging panel will comprise representatives from Sky Betting and Gaming and Startup Weekend, with more being confirmed in the coming days. The competition is also open to an external audience and individuals with a range of abilities are encourgaed to attend.
President of the Computer Science Society, Frazer Bennett Wilford is quoted:
