GoodVidio, an internet startup founded by DCS PhD graduates Dimitrios Kourtesis and Konstantinos Brantanis, has just received €300,000 of funding from the JEREMIE Open Fund.

GoodVidio combines cloud-based information filtering technology and human curation, scouting social video platforms to discover re-shareable content of high-quality video for a wide range of products, and recommending this to retailers for their approval.

Dimmitros and Konstantinos developed the concept for GoodVidio at a University of Sheffield Engineering (USE) Start-up Weekend, and received support to start their business from USE. They then went on to the Global Start-up battle and were ranked in the top 12 in the world in their category.
