Profile

Sneha Roychowdhury obtained her bachelor's degree  in Statistics from University of Calcutta followed by MSc in Statistics and Computing from Banaras Hindu University in 2019 and MSc in Data Science from The University of Sheffield in 2022. She joined the pervasive computing group  in 2022 and her  research interests revolve around visualising large semantic datasets, synthetic data generation, bayesian statistical analysis and statistical modelling to make data-driven decisions .  Moreover, her two publications in the edited books revolve around Ethical implications of Automated Behavioural Microtargeting and ethical use of visualisations for assessing socio-economic inequality and sustainability of emerging economies of South Asia.
