Dissolving Dragons Teeth and Magic Potions to Detect Dangerous Tooth Rotting Delicacies!

Prof Paul Hatton and Dr Simon Whawell along with staff and students from the School of Clinical Dentistry presented a Defence Against the Dark Arts and the Battle Against Tooth Decay Class to a group of muggle children on the 16th of November 2017. The class forms part of nine-week exhibition and programme of events at Sheffield libraries celebrating the 20th anniversary of the publication of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.

Discovery Night 2017

Discovery Night returned to the University of Sheffield on Friday 10th March 2017 and a team from the School of Clinical Dentistry explained their research and encouraged visitors to think about what is in their mouths.


Life Festival 2016 - iTooth - use of digital technology about all things to do with teeth

School Researchers visited Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) clubs at local secondary schools to discuss and demonstrate some of our research in this field.
