School of Clinical Dentistry at the Life Festival


The School was involved in several of the events run as part of the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Festival.  The Life festival was a celebration of the work that the University of Sheffield's medicine, dentistry and health researchers are doing to improve people’s lives.

We were involved in the following activities, please click on the titles for more information.

  • Mouth Mysteries: A fun, interactive workshop about teeth for primary school children. Presented by: Dr Zoe Marshman. Run by dentists and researchers.

  • Activities at the Hallamshire Hospital - 3D Printing in Action: Family-friendly event demonstrating how we use 3D printers for oral and dental health research. Presented by Oral and Dental Directorate

  • Fun Activities for Families - Fun, Games and Teeth: Family-friendly event, involving quizzes and games about teeth and health for kids. Plus tips on how to clean your teeth run by student dentists from the Sheffield University Dental Student Society.

  • Not Just Teeth: An interactive workshop for schools about the exciting research that’s happening in our Dental School. Presented by: School of Clinical Dentistry
