Women here make a demonstrable and significant contribution at every level including the School Executive, where they lead on a large number of critical tasks ranging from postgraduate taught courses through operations, Unit leadership, and student affairs.

These include awards for dental education and research, the latter including a "clean sweep" of British Society for Oral & Dental Research prizes awarded three female PhD students (where half of the supervisory teams were senior women academics).
