One of the best ways to get a feel for the Department for Lifelong Learning and hear answers to any questions you may have is by talking to us face-to-face. We'd love to meet you at one of our events, open days, taster workshops or other events we're attending.
Free Taster Sessions in archaeological landscape survey - 19th - 23rd June, Redmires WW1 Training Area
Together with the Department of Archaeology we are offering the chance to experience first-hand archaeological fieldwork in practice. These sessions are open to anyone, particularly mature learners, and you can attend for a day or the whole week. Transport from the University can be provided. Mature Student Learning Cafes
We are working with our partners at HEPP to deliver a series of Learning Cafes in Sheffield City Centre on May 19th, May 26th, June 2nd and June 9th. Discover is a FREE award winning short course, designed to inspire adults who haven’t been to university to progress with their learning. The next Discover course will be in Rotherham, and start on Tuesday 6th June. Find out more
