Our Advisory Board provides the Department of Economics with advice on areas of strategic importance such as our research and innovation as well as our teaching curriculum, in particular the relevance to careers and professional practice.

Anjalika Bardalai – TheCityUK |
Prior to joining TheCityUK in 2014, she spent 12 years with the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), holding a number of different roles in the company’s New York and London offices, including Manager of ‘Country Reports’, the EIU’s flagship publication. After the EIU, Anjalika spent two years with the consultancy Eurasia Group, overseeing the company’s South Asia-focused macroeconomic and political analysis. |

Dr Abigail Diamond – CFE Research |
A key focus of her recent work has been the application of behavioural economics to understanding student choice and she produced a UK review of the provision of information about higher education. She also has a keen interest in the role of technology in education; leadership and cultural change. Abigail is also a visiting fellow at Nottingham Business School at Nottingham Trent University. |
