MA Applied Professional Studies in Education

Please note: The MA APSE has been designed to complement our PGDE programme, and is currently being offered as a dissertation year only. For those seeking to begin the studies with fewer than 120 Masters-Level Credits, please refer to the MA ETL.

The Sheffield MA in Applied Professional Studies in Education is an exciting distance learning programme. It was set up in partnership with 9 subject associations as well as local authorities, to take into account professional development needs of practising teachers.

The MA in Applied Professional Studies in Education is in a position to draw on a range of expertise from across the School, whilst also building on the highly successful Initial Teacher Education (Post Graduate Diploma in Education/PGDE) programme.
