The REF assesses excellence across the three fields of published research outputs, research impact, and the environment for research in the Department.
Our research environment is ranked as 100% 4 star (world-leading) and 3 star (internationally excellent), it situates our academic team to carry out world leading and internationally excellent research.
We are ranked 4th overall in Education in the UK, with world leading and internationally excellent research.
This outcome confirms the high quality of our research and our commitment to doing research that has strong and lasting impact.
