Our Department is marking its centenary year in 2017.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, we held a day of events on Saturday the 22nd July 2017. This was an opportunity for all of us to look back on our time at the department, meet with the people we knew, and see how the department, University and campus have changed over the years.
We hope that everyone who attended had an enjoyable time and if anyone has any stories from the day that you would like to share we would love to hear from you. Please send an email to email@example.com or alternatively write to Luke Marsden, Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, The University of Sheffield, Suite 6, 3 Solly Street, S1 4DE.

Publication on our History
We are creating a publication looking back on our history to help commemorate the centenary year. This is a chance to chart the course of the department’s rise to the forefront of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, and reflect on the changing student and staff experiences within our ever-expanding department.
We are eager to hear memories from anyone with a former involvement with the department. These might range from your day-to-day student life, to the way the department functioned, to the learning and research you completed. We are also very interested to hear from former departments members if you have any photographs from your time at the university which you would be willing to share with us.
If you do wish to contribute to the publication, please send your reminiscences or photographs to Luke Marsden, Department of Electronic and Electrical Engineering, The University of Sheffield, Suite 27, 3 Solly Street, S1 4DE
