Can wind turbines alone meet UK energy demands?

As COP 26 gets closer, the UK Government's pledge to power the UK on renewable energy only by 2035 is under scrutiny. Professor Dan Gladwin shares his views on what is needed in a piece published in the Mirror on Sunday.

 Professor Dan Gladwin of Sheffield University said "We're building enough turbines and batteries and fine for storage in the short term but we need other technologies for longer periods."
