Centre for GaN Materials and Devices Industry Open Day 2020

We're inviting photonics and electronics companies to The University of Sheffield to find out more about collaboration, PhD sponsorship and partnership opportunities for III-nitride semiconductor research.

The Diamond building

Join us on Monday 13th January 2020 at The University of Sheffield to discover more about:

  • the latest technology and research from the UKs largest Gallium Nitride (GaN) research group
  • our world-class facilities
  • funding opportunities and support for collaborative R&D
  • sponsoring PhD studentships.

The Centre for GaN Materials and Devices is a research group based in The University of Sheffield. It is part of the EPSRC Future Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing Hub which aims to establish the UK as the primary global research and manufacturing Hub for Compound Semiconductor technologies. We'll also be training future scientists and engineers as a partner institution (with Cardiff University, The University of Manchester and UCL) for the new EPSRC Centre for Doctoral training in Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing.
