Research Project

A key component of all our courses is the research project. This will give you practical experience of research in your chosen field.

This is a major part of your degree and you will be allocated an academic supervisor who will provide advice and guidance throughout. The research project will be assessed via a written dissertation and an oral presentation.

Projects can include theoretical and practical aspects depending on where your interests lay. The topics you can choose from are closely related to the world-leading research taking place within the department and many have direct relevance to industry.
