Diamond Lab Talk

This session will introduce you to The Diamond Laboratories.

11am - 2pm Pam Liversidge Building Design Studios, D05 and D06

Lunch with Academics

Here you will be able to chat with your module leaders and learn more about the work you’ll be doing per module. You’ll also have the chance to speak with other academics about the research they’re doing, and interact with some exciting bits of kit. This session will be catered.

2pm onwards  

Tour of the Department and its buildings

After lunch, our PhD ambassadors will give you a tour of the Department and its buildings. You’ll be shown the Heartspace, libraries and the Students Union. If there’s anywhere in particular you want to be shown, please let our ambassadors know.

Study Skills, Plagiarism and Q&A Session

Join Neil Powell and Ian Farrer to learn the key skills in being a successful MSc. Afterwards, there will be a Q&A session if you have any questions at all.
